Excuses used to trample on Our Lord St. Thomas More died for his principles, to uphold his belief, his faith. He put God first.
"I die the King's good servant, but God's first." ~ St Thomas More
What do our principles mean to us? Do we stand true to our principles, or do we just give up the moment things get too inconvenient, or too difficult.
A man goodwill principle, will not accept the trampling on our Lord as normal; He will return to the Traditional Latin Mass to worthily receive Our Lord. In order to do this, He must be able to overcome all the excuses that is used for the trampling on of our Lord.
Excuse: The Law allows Communion in hand.
We must first remember that Communion in the hand was against Church law, later it was only allowed through an indult because Catholics wanted to be like the protestants. As a result, little thought was taken to consider the great abuses to the Eucharist. Real belief and reverence to the Real Presence went out the door; so much so that Christ falling to the floor and getting trampled on, doesn't even raise an eyebrow. To many the truth - Our Lord, is just an acceptable collateral damage for their way of worship.
Meanwhile, the universal law of Communion on the tongue while kneeling, is slowly being forced out of existence in the Novus Ordo churches.
Excuse: Eucharistic particles that look like dust are no longer Christ.
This is false, anyone pushing this lie are misleading Catholics. To deny the Eucharistic particles is Our Lord, is heresy. The is an excuse to ignore the truth and responsibility, that Christ is being trampled on, so that they can continue their way of worship.
Excuse: Eucharistic participles don't break off on the hand and fall to the floor.
Below was a simple experiment of a non consecrated host place on a black glove and then removed. Eucharistic particles do break-off on the hand, fall to the floor and are trampled on.
Excuse: We use Communion Patens
It does not matter if Communion patens are used inside the Novus Ordo church, as long as Communion in the hand is allowed, Eucharistic particles break-off in the hand, then falls to the floor, and are trampled on. It is a false act of care. The true act of care, is to only allow Communion on the tongue and with the use of Communion patens. However the modernists would never allow it, does not fit with their way of worship.
Excuse: The Silence - Ignoring the Truth.
If no one talks about it, we don't have to worry about the truth. Yet Communion in the hand, results in the desecration of our Lord. If Catholics would see and accept the truth, there would be a major return to tradition, and eventually to the traditional Latin Mass. This would be a major blow to the Modernist movement. This silence of truth should truly be an outrage.
"We've had enough of exhortations to be silent! Cry out with a hundred thousand tongues. I see that the world is rotten because of silence." ~ St. Catherine of Siena
Excuse: It's not my responsibility.
Communion in the hand may be largely the responsibility of the priest, however the laity also plays a part. We have a choice to partake in the abuse or walk away. Having choice, means having responsibility. To many the responsibility will be too inconvenient, too much effort to do the right thing, and so they will choose to ignore their responsibility.
Excuse: The long distance - Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) too far away.
If you can go long distance for a relationship with someone, you can do it for Christ. If you can't go every Sunday, do your best to go every other Sunday. Some Catholics offer up their whole Sunday, just to travel for Mass and back. For men of goodwill principle, going to Mass is not a chore, but instead a wonderful treat, a privilege.
Excuse: You must go to Mass on Sunday.
The modernists want to scare you into thinking that you must go to Mass in every case, (their Novus Ordo Mass) but you really don't.
The Sunday Obligation is to keep Holy the Lord's day. Sunday Mass is one of two precepts to the Obligation.
The two precepts are:
- Sunday Mass (Can be exempted due to a serious reason.)
- Resting, not doing any unnecessary work.
To the Catholic man, going to Mass on Sundays is necessary, he would never miss the Sunday Mass obligation. However the Church does allow exemptions for illness, caring for young, sick, work, distance and other legitimate excuses permitted by your priest.
If you are sick (serious reason), you would not go to Mass; does this prevent you from meeting your Sunday obligation? No. You would stay home and do your best to keep your Sunday holy, through prayers, the rosary, reading sacred scriptures, penance etc.
Hence, why would a man of goodwill principle go to a Novus Ordo Mass and trample on Our Lord. It is a serious reason not to go to Mass. What can he do?
A man of goodwill principle would choose the following options:
- Go only to a Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) church.
- If he cannot go regularly because of long distance, he would stay home and do his best to keep his Sunday holy.
- If he cannot go at all because of long distance, he would stay home and do his best to keep his Sunday holy, and sort out a long term plan.
- If he is uncertain what to do, he can always contact a traditional priest closest by (not one who will refer you, to go back to a Novus Ordo church). Preferably a SSPX priest.
Please do not go to a Novus Ordo church to trample on our Lord - don't commit sacrilege! Yes, it sounds scary, but Catholics know to follow and use their Faith and reason. Keeping your Sunday Obligation, does NOT require you to go to a Novus Ordo Mass and trample on our Lord! The bottom line is you don't have to go to Sunday Mass in case of a serious reason. To the goodwill principled man, committing sacrilege is a serious reason!
This is not to say, don't go to Sunday Mass; go to Sunday Mass, but go to an exclusive TLM church!
You can still keep your Sunday Obligation, and keep your goodwill with God. If it means staying at home and offering up your prayers due to long distances, or making more of an effort to get to a TLM church, do it. Give thanks to God, but don't trample on Our Lord.
