What word would you use to describe the trampling on of our Lord? (These are basic definitions found on the internet.)
Reverent: Feeling or showing deep and solemn respect.
Worthy: Having or showing the qualities that deserve the specified action or regard.
Abuse: Treat with cruelty or violence, especially regularly or repeatedly.
Profanation: Treat (something sacred) with irreverence or disrespect. Sacrilege: Violation or misuse of what is regarded as sacred.

Mortal Sin: All sin is an offense against God and a rejection of his perfect love and justice. Yet, Jesus makes a distinction between two types of sins. We call the most serious and grave sins, mortal sins. Mortal sins destroy the grace of God in the heart of the sinner. By their very grave nature, a mortal sin cuts our relationship off from God and turns man away from his creator. St. Paul’s letter to the Hebrews tell us that "if we sin willfully after having the knowledge of the truth, there is now left no sacrifice for sins" (Hebrews 10:26). (Ref: saintaquinas.com)
Unworthy: Not deserving respect or attention.
“For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord” ~ 1 Corinthians 11:29
Goodwill: Friendly, helpful, or cooperative feelings or attitude.
Principle: A rule or belief governing one's behaviour. To each his own judgment from God.
